Belvoir has archives for many of our previous productions, including footage recorded of productions during their season. Archival footage is captured to keep a record of the performance as it was staged. Usually filmed from one, or sometimes two fixed cameras.
Archival footage can be viewed on site, at Belvoir, by small school groups for educational purposes. Viewing archival footage is not available online or off-site at all as per agreements with the cast and creatives of our productions. Some of our performances have been recorded specifically for school groups to view online. See our digital Recorded Live Performances for more information about how to bring Belvoir work into your classroom.
Archival Viewings are available onsite only. Priority is given to schools that are also booked for a performance.
You may choose to watch any number of archives and can choose to watch segments or the full run time of a production.
An admin fee applies to viewings based on the length of time required – you will be quoted for this service in response to your request.
Are you a tertiary or PhD student looking to view an archive?

Belvoir offers general backstage tours of the behind the scenes areas of Belvoir St Theatre. Students hear about the history of the company, glimpse props and costumes and get an actor’s eye view of the stage.
Tours run for approximately 30 minutes and are available Monday to Friday except when the theatres are in use.
