BELVOIR EVENTS

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a theatre? Found yourself wondering how the actors tackle a tricky scene? Fancied going to see a play but didn’t want to go on your own? We have the answer!

  • BELVOIR BRIEFINGS

Belvoir Briefings are your chance to hear directly from the artists about every show before it hits our stage.

For each production the creative team sits down to talk about why they wanted to tackle the story, how it’s evolved in the rehearsal room, and what audiences can expect from the show. It’s your ticket backstage.

Of course, there will also be time for you to ask your questions, and we’d love to continue the discussion in the bar afterward.

Belvoir Briefings take place in the Downstairs Theatre on week nights, so you can join the conversation before catching a show or drop by on your way home from work.

Belvoir Briefings are FREE but we’d like you to book so we can save you a spot.

*** Unfortunately given the challenges posed by Covid-19 and the social distancing regulations outlined by the NSW Government, Belvoir has suspended Briefings for the foreseeable future. However, you can rest assured that we are working to bring them back as soon as it’s safe to do so. ***

  • POST-SHOW Q&A

Have you ever wished you could sit down with the cast & crew after the performance, hang out and ask questions about what you’ve just seen?

    Guess what? You can!

Directly following one performance of each production, select cast & crew will return to the stage for an informal chat led by Belvoir Artistic Associate Tom Wright.

This is your chance to ask about the show and to delve deeper into the performance.

Just stay in your seat after these performances…
