  • Philanthropy Manager

    Belvoir is looking for a Philanthropy Manager to help grow our community of supporters and champion bold Australian work.

    We are seeking a thoughtful, relationship-driven person to become our next Philanthropy Manager. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone ready to step into their first management role, or to bring transferable skills from another field such as marketing, producing, partnerships or communications into fundraising.

    Reporting to the Head of Development, this role sits at the heart of how Belvoir builds long-term relationships with the people who believe in our work. You will be supported to develop your leadership, fundraising practice and strategic thinking, while playing a key role in sustaining one of Australia’s most important theatre companies.

    As Philanthropy Manager, you will:

    • Build and nurture meaningful relationships with Belvoir donors, supporters and advocates
    • Help grow individual giving across annual giving, major gifts and stewardship, with guidance and support from senior leadership
    • Manage Giving Circles and relationships with donors giving $5,000 and above
    • Create warm, memorable donor experiences including events, openings, rehearsal room visits and cultivation moments
    • Lead Belvoir’s annual EOFY appeal and support donor growth across digital channels
    • Work closely with colleagues across the company to connect donors with the creative process
    • Use systems and reporting tools to support good decision-making, with training provided where needed

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Is ready to take a step into people management, or to grow their leadership skills for the first time
    • Brings relevant experience from fundraising, partnerships, marketing, producing, communications or another relationship-focused field
    • Enjoys working with people and building trust over time
    • Communicates clearly and warmly, both in writing and in person
    • Is organised, curious and keen to learn
    • Has an interest in fundraising and a genuine love of the arts and creative work
    • Ideally has three years of experience in the arts, however if you feel you have to skills for the role, we encourage you to apply.

    Experience with CRM systems or fundraising databases is helpful but not essential. What matters most is your interest in people, your willingness to learn, and your commitment to Belvoir’s values and work.

  • Associate Producer

    Belvoir is looking for an Associate Producer to help realise bold Australian theatre and play a central role in delivering our artistic program.

    We are seeking a dynamic, organised and artist-centred producer to join our Producing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with demonstrated producing experience who is ready to take on significant responsibility across creative development, production delivery and community engagement within one of Australia’s leading theatre companies.

    Reporting to the Head of Producing and working closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Director, the Associate Producer provides high-level producing support across Belvoir’s Artistic and Producing departments. The role contributes to creative development, casting, rights and contract negotiations, budget management and community engagement, helping to realise main stage, touring and special projects from development through to production close.

    As Associate Producer, you will:

    • Liaise across Artistic, Producing and Programming teams to support the development and implementation of Belvoir’s season
    • Support casting processes, rights negotiations, contracting and creative management through to production close
    • Manage and track project budgets, supporting forecasting, reconciliation and financial acquittals
      Support creative developments, readings, commissions and special events
    • Contribute to inclusive artistic programming and actively engage with diverse artists and communities
    • Assist in securing and managing grants, partnerships and co-productions
    • Provide company management support to ensure the smooth delivery of rehearsals and seasons

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Has demonstrated experience producing or co-producing professional performing arts projects
    • Is confident managing budgets and overseeing financial processes
    • Brings strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
    • Exercises sound judgement in a fast-paced creative environment
    • Has a strong understanding of the Australian theatre ecology and the role of producers within a major performing arts organisation
    • Is committed to inclusive artistic practice and community engagement
    • Has a genuine affinity with Belvoir’s aesthetic, values and creative ambition

  • Artistic Administrator

    Belvoir  is looking for an Artistic Administrator to help realise bold Australian theatre and support the artists who bring it to life.

    We are seeking a thoughtful, organised and artist-centred person to become our next Artistic Administrator. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and rigour, and who wants to play a central role in shaping and delivering Belvoir’s artistic program.

    Reporting to the Head of Producing and working closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Director, this role sits at the heart of the Company’s producing and artistic operations. You will provide high-level support across casting, contracts, licensing and industrial compliance, while also contributing to producing, company management and artist care to ensure our productions are delivered smoothly and in line with industry agreements.

    This is a rare chance to develop deep knowledge of how a major theatre company operates, while building meaningful relationships with artists, agents, unions and collaborators across the industry.

    As Artistic Administrator, you will:

    • Support casting across all Belvoir productions, liaising with agents, coordinating auditions and assisting directors to identify artists
    • Draft and negotiate contracts for actors and creative personnel, ensuring compliance with relevant awards and agreements
    • Manage play licences, commissions and other rights and permissions required for productions
    • Maintain strong relationships with industry bodies and unions, and monitor changes to awards and agreements
    • Support co-productions, touring initiatives and creative developments, including budget and grant processes
    • Work closely with Marketing to ensure accurate billing and artist representation in all materials
    • Provide company management and artist care support across rehearsals, seasons and tours

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Has strong administrative skills and a high level of attention to detail
    • Is able to deal sensitively and constructively with artists and creative teams
    • Has experience working within a theatre company or arts organisation
    • Understands the role of producers within a major performing arts organisation
    • Brings curiosity, initiative and a genuine commitment to Belvoir’s artistic vision and place within the Australian cultural landscape
