Belvoir is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Artistic Director and Executive Director and help keep the creative life of the company running smoothly.
This is a part time role (0.6 FTE) across a minimum of four days per week, working in close partnership with another Executive Assistant in a job share arrangement, supporting senior leadership and helping coordinate the day to day rhythm of the office. The role includes diary management, meeting coordination, Board administration and helping ensure the company runs efficiently behind the scenes.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have worked in the creative industries, or who are returning to the workforce or reskilling into arts administration. Experience in theatre, producing, stage management, company management, marketing or other collaborative creative roles can bring valuable transferable skills to this position.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, thrives on organisation and problem solving, and takes pride in helping others do their best work.
In this role you will
- Provide administrative and diary support to the Artistic Director and Executive Director
- Coordinate meetings, appointments and internal communications
- Assist with Board administration including meeting preparation and papers
- Help manage the day to day operations of the Belvoir office
- Support the wider team with coordination of visitors, events and internal processes
- Help create a welcoming, organised and supportive office environment
We are looking for someone who
- Is highly organised and enjoys coordinating people and schedules
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is calm, discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information
- Enjoys being part of a collaborative team environment
- Is proactive and able to anticipate needs
- Has an interest in theatre and the creative process
Administrative experience is welcome but not essential. We strongly encourage applications from people with transferable skills, particularly those coming from the arts and creative industries, or those returning to work and looking to build a career in arts administration.
