Jacob Sgouros

Ariadne Sgouros

Ariadne Sgouros graduated from NIDA in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.

Ariadne has been onstage at Belvoir for production of Scenes from the Climate Era, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Never Closer (Belvoir 25a) and in Shitty (Belvoir 25a) and Life is a Dream (Belvoir 25a).

During her time at NIDA, Ariadne performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Eurydike and Orpheus, and The Show That Smells. Ariadne has been involved in a series of KXTeethCutting readings at the Kings Cross Theatre. Other theatre credits include Midnight Murder At Hamlington Hall (Ensemble Theatre), The Divorce Party and Love, Me (The Old 505), Before the Meeting and The Shifting Heart (White Box Theatre) and What The Butler Saw and This Bitter Earth (New Theatre). Most recently Ariadne has been on stage in 4000 Miles (Sydney Theatre Company).

On screen, Ariadne has been involved in a number of AFTRS short films, including The Retreat, Reunion, and Gorgon, in which she speaks Greek. Ariadne also appeared on Swipe Right, Home and Away and Binge original series Strife.

Meg Hyeronimus

Meg Hyeronimus is a graduate of the Academy of Film, Theatre and Television and the Stella Adler Academy of Acting, Hollywood. Meg’s recent theatre credits include Scenes from the Climate Era (Belvoir), SHITTY, (Essential Workers, Belvoir 25a), GRAVY, (MERAK), Mortel (MERAK), Cherry Smoke (CrissCross Productions), The Dazzle (Corvus Arts Theatre), Arthur and Marilyn (Dinosaurus Productions), Doing (Puddle or Pond). Meg was the recipient of ‘Best Actress’ at the 2017 Short and Sweet Festival for Arthur and Marilyn, in Sydney and Hollywood.

Shiv Palekar

Shiv Palekar was born in India, raised in Hong Kong and is now based in Sydney.

Since graduating from NIDA, Shiv has appeared in Counting and Cracking (Belvoir); 4000 Miles, The
Tempest, The Real Thing, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, and Disgraced (Sydney Theatre Company);
The Sound Inside (Melbourne Theatre Company); The Great Gatsby (Queensland Theatre Company);
The Almighty Sometimes (Griffin Theatre Company); and has toured nationally twice in The Merchant
of Venice and The Players (Bell Shakespeare).

Shiv’s television credits include a series regular role on Amazon Studios’ Daytime-Emmy nominated
remount of Neighbours, as well as Apple TV/Paramount’s Shantaram and ABC series Return to
Paradise. Shiv made his feature film debut in The Greenhouse. He has also starred in the short film
Among Men.

For his work in the Beauty Queen of Leenane and Counting and Cracking, he received two Sydney
Theatre Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor, and Best Actor respectively. For his work in The
Sound Inside he received a nomination for Outstanding Performance at Melbourne’s Green Room
Awards and won for Outstanding Ensemble in Counting and Cracking.

He is also an associate artist and founding member of theatre ensemble The Corinthian Food Store
Collective for who he has starred as Lester in This, This is Mine.

Charles Wu

Charles Wu is one of Australia’s most exciting actors of stage and screen.

Charles’ theatre credits include The Cherry Orchard alongside Pamela Rabe, An Enemy of the People, Jasper Jones, Scenes from the Climate Era, Ms. Peony, Samson, The Overcoat: A Musical (Belvoir), The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui alongside Hugo Weaving, The Lifespan of a Fact, The Importance of Being Earnest, Mosquitoes, Three Sisters, Chimerica (Sydney Theatre Company), Golden Blood (Griffin Theatre), The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (Darlinghurst Theatre), The Questions (State Theatre Company South Australia), Bernhardt/Hamlet and Torch the Place for which he won a Green Room award for Best Actor (Melbourne Theatre Company).

Charles is well known for his work on the popular series Doctor Doctor. His other television credits include Summer Love, The Letdown, Harrow, Here Come the Habibs, and Secret City. Charles can also be seen in the feature film Australia Day alongside Bryan Brown, and the web series Liberty Street.

Charles is the lead singer/songwriter of Sydney indie rock band Earthquake Magnificent. He is currently co-writing his first feature film and was a 2024 Heath Ledger Scholarship Finalist.
