Eric Jiang

Nicole Pingon

Nicole Pingon (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist, theatre maker, and artist facilitator working across live performance, installation and digital mediums. Expanding across and between mediums, Nicole’s practice tends to be collaborative, curiosity-led, and process-driven.

Most recently, Nicole directed Little Eggs Collective’s Moon Rabbit Rising for Belvoir 25A, which won three Sydney Theatre Awards. Other directing credits include: Blush Opera’s new Australian opera, Chop Chef for Riverside Theatres Parramatta (co-directed with Kenneth Moraleda), Shopfront Junior Ensemble’s Mums Tell Dad Jokes Too (co-directed with Tasha O’Brien), and Blush Opera’s forthcoming Songs of the Sirens, an ocean-side operatic experience for Bondi Festival. As assistant director: Opening Night (Belvoir, dir. Carissa Licciardello), Ate Lovia (kwento/Red Line, dir. Kenneth Moraleda), The Lies We Were Told (Shopfront/Monkey Baa, dir. Natalie Rose). Nicole has created audio works for The Wheeler Centre, Constellations and is the sound designer on Bad Taste, an SBS podcast. In 2022, they presented a participatory performance score as part of Temporary Position’s De-Choiring series at Phoenix Central Park. Nicole is a member and collaborator of the Little Eggs Collective and Ninefold Ensemble, and a passionate teaching artist.

Hailley is an emerging Set and Costume Designer, whose credits include: Set and Costume Designer for Forgetting Tim Minchin (2023) (Nominated for APDG Emerging Designer Award), Aurat Raj (2024) and Feminazi (2023), and Set Designer for Shitty (2024), for Belvoir’s 25A program.

Outside of Belvoir, she has Set and Costume Designed for Amber (2025), Sitting, Screaming (2024), Anomalies (2024), The Changelings (2024), Scab (2024) and How to Win a Plebiscite (and Tennis) (2022).

She has also Set Designed for Catch Me if You Can (2025) at Newington College, Picnic at Hanging Rock (2022) at NIDA, and Associate Set Designed for The Hello Girls (2024). 

Morgan Moroney

Morgan Moroney is an award-winning lighting and video designer for theatre, opera, dance and installation. Growing up on Kaurna land, he currently lives and works primarily on Gadigal land.

Morgan’s work includes: AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, KING LEAR, SONG OF FIRST DESIRE and NAYIKA: A DANCING GIRL (Belvoir), SHITTY (Belvoir 25A), APHRODITE (Sydney Chamber Opera), DIDO & AENEAS, LA SERVA PADRONA (Pinchgut Opera), FLY GIRL, THE QUEEN’S NANNY, SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER and CLYDE’S (Ensemble), THE BARBER OF SEVILLE (Opera Australia National Tour), TURN OF THE SCREW (Hayes Theatre Co),CLEANSED (Redline),  INFERNO (Australian Brandenburg Orchestra),CAMP (Siren Theatre Co), ANATOMY OF A SUICIDE (Sugary Rum), THE DRY and THE WET (Circa Cairns), SAPLINGS and SHACK (ATYP) and COLLAPSIBLE (essential workers), which he also co-directed.


Morgan is a NIDA graduate. In 2025, he was awarded the Ian Potter Cultural Trust Emerging Artist Grant and Freddie J Gibson Fellowship to travel to London with Nick Schlieper alongside Kip Williams’ DRACULA on the West End.  Morgan’s Associate Designer work includes PHANTOM OF THE OPERA ON SYDNEY HARBOUR (Opera Australia) and MAUREEN: HARBINGER OF DEATH (Soft Tread).

Morgan has received the 2024 Michael Northen Award for emerging Lighting Designers, administered by the Association for Lighting Production and Design in the UK, 2023 Sydney Theatre Award in Best Independent Lighting Design, NIDA X Storytelling Futures Grant and APDG Award in Lighting Design, and 2020 APDG Emerging Designer for Live Performance.

Sam Cheng

Sam Cheng (she/he/they) is an Asian-Australian composer, sound designer, instrumentalist, and graduate from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Recent theatre credits include: Composer and Sound designer for Sydney Theatre Company (American Signs), Belvoir 25A (Saturday Girls), New Ghosts Theatre Company (Cut Chilli, Albion, Sitting Screaming, Frame Narrative, For the Grace of You Go I), Slanted Theatre (Boom, Ching Chong Chinaman), Kwento (The Marriage Agency), Purple Tape Productions (Maa Ki Rasoi), Makhazzi Productions (Yalla to Lebanon), Fruitbox Theatre (French Letters & Leather Cleaner), and more. They’ve also been Sound Designer for Hayes Theatre (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), New Ghosts Theatre Company (Girl Band), and Outhouse Theatre Company (How to Defend Yourself), as well Sound Associate for Griffin Theatre Company (Mother May We).

Zoë Hollyoak

Zoë is a Director and Creative Producer who has worked across a range of organisations including Performance Space, Performing Lines, Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts and Black Swan State Theatre Company of WA. She holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Performance Making) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and a Master of Fine Arts (Directing) from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Zoë runs essential workers, a Sydney-based Performance Making Group.

Zoë combines her significant producing and project management skills with an extensive artistic background that includes projects for NIDA, PICA, triple J Unearthed, Belvoir, The Blue Room Theatre, The Old Fitz and the State Theatre Centre of WA.

As Director: Shitty (Belvoir 25a), Collapsible (Old Fitz), The Changelings (PACT), The Writer (NIDA) Antigonick (NIDA), Cotton Wool Kid (STCWA).
