Join us in the Belvoir St Theatre foyer after the 2pm performance of The Book of Everything on Saturday 19 September and make your own Book of Everything with author and illustrator Tina Matthews.

Parents, grandparents, carers and kids – come and make a book together. Write down a story, record a memory, make a joke or simply fill your pages with … everything! Bring your ideas to life with drawings and illustrations, create a cover and take your book home.

All ages welcome. Workshop materials supplied.

Tina Matthews is an award-winning Australian-based puppet maker, author and illustrator with a career spanning more than four decades. She began making puppets in New Zealand before moving to Sydney, where she worked with leading Australian puppet makers and contributed to productions including Labyrinth, The Ferals, Bananas in Pyjamas and The Upside Down Show.

Matthews has written and illustrated numerous picture books, many of which have received literary and illustration awards and nominations. Her work often explores imagination, family, nature, creativity and childhood. She has also taught puppetry at NIDA and held a writer and illustrator residency at the University of New England.
