Making Plays

Suitable for students in high school, ages 13 – 16 years old who have an interest in making theatre and devising content for plays.

Explore theatre making techniques for building theatre from a variety of stimulus. This workshop will explore original content creation, collaboration about how to refine and edit work to present a polished piece of theatre.

In this workshop you will use imagination, physicalisation, improvisation to create your own short theatre piece.

TO PREPARE: Participants will need:

• bottle of water
• snack/small packed lunch
• comfortable clothing you can move around in (e.g. active wear)
• a notebook or if preferred a devise which allows the participant to write (e.g laptop, tablet)
• a pen or pencil
