Bell Shakespeare’s Hamlet

Sydney Opera House, 4 March – 2 April

Peter Evans’ critically acclaimed production of Shakespeare’s Hamlet returns in 2022.

Hamlet is a portrait of a young man struggling with the death of his father, his mother’s hasty remarriage to his uncle, and the vision of his father’s ghost looming in his mind’s eye. Featuring Harriet Gordon-Anderson as a young man experiencing grief in its most complex and profound state, this is a Hamlet for our time.

To win a double pass to the performance on 10 March at 7pm email Bell Shakespeare with the subject line BELVOIR HAMLET.

Bangarra Dance Theatre and Sydney Theatre Company have joined forces to present the world premiere of Wudjang: Not the Past, an epic-scale contemporary corroboree, and Bangarra’s largest stage production to date. Combining poetry, spoken storytelling and live music with Bangarra’s unique dance language,   this profoundly evocative piece of First Nations performance is a benchmark Australian production.

Win a double pass to Wudjang: Not the Past at Roslyn Packer Theatre.

HUSH by Ciella Williams

Flight Path Theatre, 24 February – 6 March

Nina is slowly losing her grip on reality. Lying in a pool of her own amniotic fluid in Darwin hospital, alone and paralysed by indecision, she is visited by her best friend who dreams of a different life for her, and an apparition of her mother as a young woman who will do anything to be forgiven. Is Nina too messed up to be a mother? Or is she old enough and ugly enough to see this through? And maybe that thing slithering around in her ultrasound isn’t a baby at all…

For your chance to win a double pass to the preview on Thursday 24 February, email [email protected] with the subject line HUSH x BELVOIR.
