This workshop introduces your students to the principles of costume design and takes them through the process of designing a costume, from initial design ideas to the final costume as seen on stage. During the workshop students explore what makes an effective costume design, the role of the costume in the overall production and the tools available to a costume designer: line, colour and texture. The workshop includes practical activities and the opportunity for students to view a costume designer’s portfolio.
Times: Workshops run for 2 hours and can be scheduled for a time of your choosing, depending on availability.
