Claudia Osborne

Claudia is a Sydney-based theatre director, and the co-director of independent theatre company, FERVOUR. She has a Masters in directing for performance from NIDA. Her directing credits include BURN WITCH BURN (FERVOUR/Old Fitz), Picnic At Hanging Rock (NIDA), Destroy, She Said (FERVOUR/25A), Delilah By The Hour (FERVOUR/Brand X Flying Nun), Homesick (Bontom, Old 505), The Lady or the Tiger (FERVOUR), LULU: A Modern Sex Tragedy (NIDA), The Library of Babel (FERVOUR), and HeySorryGottaGoBye (FERVOUR). As an assistant director; Love and Information (NIDA dir. Anthea Williams), The Cherry Orchard (Belvoir dir. Eamon Flack), The Real Thing (Sydney Theatre Company dir. Simon Phillips), and Titus Andronicus (Bell Shakespeare dir. Adena Jacobs). In 2020, Claudia was one of four emerging practitioners who completed a three-month theatre residency as part of the Create NSW and Griffin Theatre Company Incubator Fellowship.

Shiv Palekar

Shiv Palekar was born in India, raised in Hong Kong and is now based in Sydney.

Since graduating from NIDA, Shiv has appeared in Counting and Cracking (Belvoir); The Tempest, The
Real Thing, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, and Disgraced (Sydney Theatre Company); The Sound Inside (Melbourne Theatre Company); The Almighty Sometimes (Griffin Theatre Company); and has toured nationally twice in The Merchant of Venice and The Players (Bell Shakespeare).

Shiv made his feature film debut in the feature film The Greenhouse. He has also starred in the short film Among Men.

Shiv’s most recent television credits include his ongoing appearance in Amazon Studios’ Daytime-Emmy nominated remount of Neighbours, as well as Apple TV/Paramount’s
Shantaram.

For his work in the Beauty Queen of Leenane and Counting and Cracking, he received two Sydney Theatre Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor, and Best Actor respectively. For his work in ‘The Sound Inside’ he received a nomination for Outstanding Performance at Melbourne’s Green Room Awards.

He is also an associate artist and founding member of theatre ensemble The Corinthian Food Store Collective for who he has starred as Lester in This, This is Mine.

Ariadne Sgouros

Performing in: Queanbeyan, Wyong, Taree, Port Macquarie, Tamworth and Dubbo.

Ariadne Sgouros graduated from NIDA in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.

Ariadne has been onstage at Belvoir for production of Scenes from the Climate Era, Never Closer (Belvoir 25a) and in Shitty (Belvoir 25a).

During her time at NIDA, Ariadne performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Eurydike and Orpheus, and The Show That Smells. Ariadne has been involved in a series of KXTeethCutting readings at the Kings Cross Theatre. Other theatre credits include Midnight Murder At Hamlington Hall (Ensemble Theatre), The Divorce Party and Love, Me (The Old 505), Before the Meeting and The Shifting Heart (White Box Theatre) and What The Butler Saw and This Bitter Earth (New Theatre). Most recently Ariadne has been on stage in 4000 Miles (Sydney Theatre Company).

On screen, Ariadne has been involved in a number of AFTRS short films, including The Retreat, Reunion, and Gorgon, in which she speaks Greek. Ariadne also appeared on Swipe Right, Home and Away and Binge original series Strife.

Kelsey is a lighting, set and costume designer for theatre, dance and events. Previously for Belvoir she was the Lighting Designer for Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, A Room of One’s Own; and Associate Lighting Designer for Blue, At What Cost?. Madeleine Picard

Madeleine is a sound designer & composer working on Gadigal land. Combining her backgrounds in technical theatre and music, she is interested in storytelling through sound and in being part of the creation of new Australian theatrical works. Recent select credits include: Hot Tub (Belvoir 25A); Scab (ATYP); All the Fraudulent Horse Girls (Old Fitz); Shitty (Belvoir 25A); The Weekend (Belvoir). She has also recently worked as associate sound designer and/or realiser for a number of productions including Song of First Desire (Belvoir), Ride the Cyclone (Hayes), Zombie! The Musical (Hayes), and Julia (Sydney Theatre Company). Her work on Shitty was nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Sound Design/Composition of an Independent Production. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Technical Theatre and Stage Management) from NIDA.
