Yvette Lee

Yvette is a Victorian-based creative with an emphasis on choreography. She is soon to appear in Belvoir’s co-production of Dance Nation with State Theatre Company South Australia. Theatre credits include Caroline, Or Change (Hayes Theatre Co), Candide (NZ Opera), In The Heights (Stage Art), All Out Of Love, Air Supply world premiere, Reefer Madness (RL), Moonshadow, Cat Stevens world premiere (Sue Farrelly), Rock of Ages (Rodney Rigby), Little Match Girl (Malthouse / Queen Elizabeth Hall London), Song Contest (Glynn Nichols), The History Boys (MTC), Carnival of the Lost Souls (Melba Spiegeltent) and assistant choreographer for Sweet Charity, Dusty and Shout – the Legend of the Wild One. Most recently she was the choreographer for American Psycho (Hayes Theatre), for which she won Best Choreography in a Musical at the Sydney Theatre Awards. Notable credits for TV include Dancing with the Stars, The Masked Singer, So You Think You Can Dance, Dance Boss, The Big Music Quiz, X Factor, China’s Next Top Model, Chris Lilly’s J’amie Private School Girl and Jonah from Tonga, Cosentino – the Illusionist, Dance Hero Japan, ARIA Awards, Logie Awards, So You Think You Can Dance Greece, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Comedy Inc, Australian Idol, Neighbours, The Taiwanese Wiggles for the Disney Channel, The Pacific, produced by Stephen Spielberg, and Asia’s Got Talent, where she was assistant to the Squared Division. Choreography and creative production for recording artists include Tones & I, Guy Sebastian, Dami Im, Samantha Jade, Ricki Lee, Zara Larsson, Andy Grammar, Illy, Vera Blue, Harrison Craig, Aston Merrygold, Josh Groban, Bonnie Anderson, Rob Mills, Casey Donovan, Hugh Sheridan, Andrew Da Silva, Tim Campbell, Rhonda Burchmore, Bobby Fox and Dan Hamil.
