Tim Overton

Tim is a South Australian theatre maker, performer and director. He is soon to appear in Belvoir’s co-production of Dance Nation with State Theatre Company South Australia. His past credits include The 39 Steps, That Eye, The Sky, The Popular Mechanicals, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) and Buried Child (State Theatre Company South Australia). Tim has also performed with renowned South Australian children’s theatre companies on local, regional, national and international tours. Past credits include Me and My Shadow, Mr McGee and the Biting Flee and Cranky Bear (Patch), Emil and the Detectives and The Young King (Slingsby) and Beep (Windmill). His other acting credits include Life Is Short and Long (Vitalstatistix) and appearances in the SBS hit comedy Danger 5 and The History Channel’s Changed Forever. After graduating from Adelaide College of the Arts in 2008, Tim performed in and coproduced Autobahn, Two, Boxing Day Test and The Call with his own Adelaide-based theatre company Junglebean. Tim is a proud member of Actors’ Equity.
