Sukania Venugopal

Sukania is a performer based in Kuala Lumpur. She is set to appear in the 2019 Belvoir production of Counting and Cracking. Her Malaysian stage credits include The Language Archive (PH7 Production Management), Second Link (5 Arts Centre & Wild Rice), Puteri Gunung Ledang (Enfiniti Productions & Istana Budaya), Terra Arrata (Jumping Jellybeans), Hamlet, Talking Aids, Killing of Sister George, Streetcar Named Desire (Actor’s Studio), Love Child (Instant Café Theatre co), and The Happy Apple (K.L Theatre Club). Her Singaporean credits include Ghost Writer, Past Caring, Good People (The Necessary Stage), and Doubt (Action Theatre). Her work with the Temple of Fine Arts on shows including Butterfly Lovers, Krishnaarpanam and Shakuthala has seen her tour to Sri Lanka, India and Australia. Suki has also been awarded Best Actor in the BMW Short Film awards for her role in Terminal (2016) and Best Supporting Actor in the 14th Boh Cameronian Arts Awards for her role in The Language Archive (2017).
