Roxanne is descended from the Mandandanjii & Darambal tribes of Central Queensland. For Belvoir Roxanne has performed in Yibiyung, The Man from Mukinupin, Parramatta Girls and Windmill Baby. In 2019 she will be appearing in Winyanboga Yurringa in the role of Neecy. Other theatre credits include The Cherry Pickers, Yarnin’ Up, Bethel and Maude, A Life of Grace and Piety, Black Shorts, Skin Deep, Seems Like Yesterday, Luck of the Draw, Njunjul the Sun & Whispers Of This Wik Woman (Kooemba Jdarra); Richard II, The Skin of Our Teeth, The Sunshine Club, Fountains Beyond, Black-ed Up, Mother Courage & Her Children (QTC); Radiance (Kooemba Jdarra / QTC); Romeo & Juliet (Kooemba Jdarra / La Boite); The Taming of the Shrew, Oodgeroo Bloodline To Country and Lysa & The Freeborn Dames (La Boite); Rovers (Belloo Creative); The Story of the Miracles at Cookie’s Table (Griffin Theatre Company / Hothouse), and also for Bungabura Productions); You Came To My Country & You Didn’t Turn Black (Queensland Museum); It All Begins With Love (Creative Regions). Web Series: Deadlock. Roxanne has also co-written a radio play and short film script. In 2000 Roxanne received a special commendation Matilda Award.
