Mark Lee

Mark is both an actor and director who has worked extensively in Australian film, television and theatre for over thirty years. He is soon to appear in Riverside’s National Theatre of Parramatta production of Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam as part of Belvoir’s 2020 season. Other theatre credits include A Conversation, Happiness, Little Nell, Men of Honour (Ensemble Theatre); Frail Man (Darlinghurst Theatre Company); The Cobra (Sydney Theatre Company); The Merchant of Venice (Sydney Shakespeare Company); Twelfth Night (Sport for Jove Theatre Co); Breaker Morant (Seymour Centre); and The Time Machine (Old 505 Theatre). Film credits include Gallipoli, Shadows of the Past, The Wallet, Cicada, Sahara, The Everlasting Secret Family and Blackwater Trail. Television credits include A Place to Call Home (Series 3-5), Paper Giants: Magazine Wars, Redfern Now, Packed to the Rafters, Crownies, Out there 2, Out There, Natalie Wood, The Junction Boys, Water Rats, SeaChange, A Country Practice and The Flying Doctors. Mark was nominated for two Australian Film Institute Awards for Best Actor for his performances in Gallipoli and The Everlasting Secret Family.
