Lillian Hannah U

Lillian (she/her) is a first-generation Chinese-Australian woman and stage manager.

Lillian was most recently the Stage Manager for the World Premiere national tour of Drummer Queens (Neil Gooding Productions & Repercussions Productions).

From 2018 to 2020, Lillian was the resident stage manager of Bangarra Dance Theatre, and toured regionally, nationally and internationally with productions of OUR: Land People, Stories (2018), Dark Emu (2018), Bennelong (2018-2019), 30 Years of 65,000 (2019) and Spirit (2018 -2019).

Other theatre credits as stage manager include: The Gruffalo’s Child (CDP Productions), Chrysalis (ATYP), The Village Bike (Cross Pollinate Productions), The Judas Kiss (Red Line Productions) and Champions (FORM Dance Projects). Event credits include: WugulOra Indigenous Morning Ceremony 2020 (Department of Premier and Cabinet) as showcaller; Bondi Feast (Waverley Council), Sydney Writer’s Festival (SWF) as stage manager, Lord Mayor’s Picnic (Sydney New Year’s Eve) 2017 and 2019 as assistant stage manager. Lillian is a graduate of NIDA (BFA – Technical Theatre and Stage Management).
