Belvoir has developed a series of bespoke workshops specifically designed for architects and engineers to improve their communication and presentation skills. Whether it’s presenting a paper at a conference, pitching a proposal to clients, or engaging with stakeholders, the workshop series will focus on developing simple techniques to turn ideas into compelling, well-crafted stories with a singular focus and intent. Across three half-day workshops, we explore the critical building blocks of story structure, language and delivery.
We recognise that participants already bring considerable expertise and experience, so instead draw out what is already natural and authentic in your speaking/presentation styles. We enhance this through greater confidence, self-awareness and presence. We focus on breath, voice and physical ease to generate presence that can hold a room, or transform a conversation. The first two sessions are held in our Warehouse, before moving to the Downstairs Theatre for the final workshop, culminating in practiced presentations and tailored feedback.
