This is a hands-on workshop with students guided through a range of activities specific to the role of a Stage Manager (SM). It suits students with some or no knowledge of the SM’s role in a live theatre production. Students will look at where the SM fits into the production team and the different ‘hats they wear’ during the pre-production, performance and post-production phases of a show. The workshop is run by a professional Belvoir Stage Manager with activities framed by her personal (often amusing!) experiences of working behind the scenes.

Time: Workshops run for 2 hours and can be scheduled at a time of your choosing, depending on availability.

Cost: Workshops cost $350 for up to 30 students in Sydney. For workshops in regional locations check out our Regional Programs.
