Twelve of our finest physical performers will bring the 17th Century jumping into full blooded life on the stage of the York. A glorious
love story, directed by Neil Armfield and choreographed by Kate Champion, Peribanez will appeal to both Drama and English students.

"It is exciting to discover this great play from the Spanish golden age, in a thrilling contemporary version by English writer Tanya Ronder and a production by Neil Armfield that is playful, serious and stirring. It has peasants and kings, love and honour and a neat political sting in the tail." The Australian, 21.7.06
